Meeting Times
We meet on the third Saturday of every month (except December) in the Johnny Arolfo Civic Center, 300 W. Walker, League City, TX.and The Fire On The Strings Festival will be held the third weekend in May at Houston North/Lake Conroe KOA, Conroe, TX. Jam sessions (welcoming all bluegrass pickers) begin at 5 PM. A stage show, featuring local and guest bands, begins at 7:00 PM. Directions: From I-45, exit at FM 518; go east to Hwy. 3; turn right at light; go to next light and turn right onto Walker; follow winding road to 3rd white building; park car; come on in. MAP ON HOME PAGE. The whole family can enjoy the lively entertainment in our great air conditioned facility. Food is available from the BABA kitchen. Raffles/donations, and memberships from individuals and businesses, are used to present the monthly shows, publish the newsletter, pay for sound equipment, promote bluegrass, and for minor incidental expenses. A CALL FOR HELP If you're able and willing, the people who set up the sound equipment before the show can use some help. If you can arrive at the Civic Center around 4:30 PM, your help would be appreciated. And THANK YOU to those who have been helping.
